History

This is the second game from Midwest Video Games. The first game was Icarus Starship Command Simulator.

• Gameplay - Above Earth is a first-person survival game that focuses on resource management and atmosphere.
• Setting - The game is set in the not-too-distant future at a time when humans have developed multiple space stations as well as Lunar and Martian bases.
• Perspective - The player takes control of an astronaut who witnesses a global nuclear catastrophe and has to struggle to survive the aftermath.
• Inventory Management - There is a fully functional and intuitive inventory management system with lots of interesting items and effects.

• Crafting and Equipment - There is resource management gameplay involving crafting stations and equipment.
